Armos vs. Epona (Captions)

(ABOVE LEFT:) Epona is walking through a field of inactive Armos. Unlike Link, Epona cannot trigger an Armos by touching it, and must tackle it instead. This makes it very easy to sneak past them. (ABOVE RIGHT:) This Armos is ineffectively trying to vanquish Epona. You can tell by the dust clouds around its base that it is leaping and slamming into the horse's chest, but you can see that there are no damage sparks. There are also no impact sound effects. If the Armos used that sword, it could carve up Epona with little trouble, but it doesn't seem to realize that. (BELOW LEFT:) At first glance, it looks like this Armos is damaging Epona, but look more closely: the damage sparks are only coming from Link. This is ultimately meaningless, because Link's health cannot decrease when he is riding Epona. He also does not flash red or shout out, so his invincibility is intentional. (BELOW RIGHT:) Epona has just rammed this Armos in the back, as you can see by the damage sparks. The Armos will next rush toward Epona and try to explode next to her. If she does not keep moving, she will be roasted by the fiery explosion for major damage. This explosion is the only threat an Armos poses toward Epona.
